Ainslie grew up in Stellarton, Nova Scotia. She attended Mount Allison University in Sackville, New Brunswick, where she completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a focus in letterpress printmaking. In 2011, Ainslie moved back to her home province, settling in Halifax where she began working as a Court Reporter and quickly found her niche in the industry.

Ainslie is a creative thinker with a keen attention to detail and a tenacious work ethic that has served her well over the course of her professional life. Her values are rooted in a strong “Do-It-Yourself” ethos while keeping integrity, expertise, and quality at the forefront. 

When not serving the Nova Scotia legal community, Ainslie likes to cook for friends and enjoy the outdoors with her dog, Hazel. She has kept up her passion for art and literature, and since the pandemic has developed an enthusiasm for houseplants.
